YOUR WORLD, RESPECTED

Privacy & your data

Velour stores your account, characters, conversations, generated images and preferences in its database and private image storage. Creations are private unless you explicitly submit them for publication and they pass community review.

When you use AI

Your prompt, relevant character details, current story state, recent messages and a compact memory are sent to Venice to generate a response. When enabled, your fictional persona is included. Images may use a saved portrait as a style reference only when the selected model supports it. A reference cannot guarantee identical faces.

Provider behavior and privacy depend on the model. The owner can review the model’s reported privacy category in AI model settings. API keys stay on the server.

Your choices

You can edit your profile, disable its use in stories, unpublish creations, delete individual library items, delete conversations, or delete your account and its associated records in settings. Published creations that another person previously cloned become independent copies in their library.

Google sign-in

If you choose Google sign-in, Google shares your name, email address and profile picture with Velour to create or access your account. Velour does not request access to your Gmail, Drive or other Google files. Google handles your Google password.

Storage and account recovery

The site owner controls the database, private image storage and backups. Email recovery requires email delivery to be configured by the owner. If recovery is unavailable, use Google sign-in when it is linked to your account, or contact the site owner for help.
